Emilio Aguinaldo College - School of Medicine

University Physicians Services Incorporated (UPSI) after acquiring the Marian College in Manila in 1973, the school eventually became Emilio Aguinaldo College.It has 29 hectare campus hosting many schools, laboratories, library, social hall, an administration building, man made lake. In 1979, General Emilio Aguinaldo Medical School Foundation Inc. was established at Cavite, thus giving birth to the Emilio Aguinaldo College - College of Medicine.

The Emilio Aguinaldo College campus is located in the heart of Manila. It is easily accessible through public transportation, such as public buses, jeepneys, taxis, and the Light Rail Transit system. Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), eight kilometers south of the city centre, connects Metro Manila to many countries around the world.

State of the Art Facilities

Emilio Aguinaldo College believes in providing an environment conducive to learning. It provides modern, air conditioned classrooms, well stocked library, science, computer and speech laboratories. A seven story Sports and Cultural Center that houses, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a gymnasium, a basketball court, a fitness center, an inside running track and a state of the art theater are all available for use by students and faculty. Recently it added several simulation laboratories for use by Health Care program students. EAC provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.
 

Course Curriculam

The four-year medical course at Emilio Aguinaldo University School of Medicine generally progresses from the study of the normal to the abnormal human being. Most of the subjects are yearly courses which are taken up for two semesters.
 
The standards of our programs are recognized here and abroad. Emilio Aguinaldo’s Dental Technology course is the first to receive TESDA certification. We are one of only five institutions whose Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy is recognized by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy. Aside from our linkages with local affiliates, we have established partnership agreements with institutions from USA, China, Japan and Korea. Our agreements include joint research programs, colloquiums on program content and teaching methodology, school equipment assistance, exchange of students and faculty, technology transfer and the like.
 
The MD(MBBS) program has been designed to meet the requirements of international students and Medical Councils of India. The Curriculum was developed to ensure that graduates of the Program would qualify and pass the screening test to be conducted by their respective Medical Councils.

Emilio Aguinaldo College also provides courses on doctor of dental medicine, dental technology, four year BS in Nursing, four year Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology), 4-year BS Physical Therapy course, 4 year Radiologic Technology, two year Diploma course in Midwifery as well as other discipline courses in arts and science, hospitality, business management, engineering, etc .

Emilo Aguinaldo Medical Center

The University Medical Center (UMC), which was built in 1980 and opened in 1983, serves patients as well as training center for students of the College of Medicine and other health science students.
